Home!

After a long 4 months of being away from home I finally return to AZ!! I was so excited to come home and be with my family!! I have almost been home for a week! Over this break I am going to be working at Baskin Robbins! I don't know what it is but I just love working there! So far on my Christmas vacation I have seen my friend Emily and and Anna, gone to a bridal shower for Anna, Suprised all my friends at the Ironwood ward party and suprised my one of my favorite young women leaders of all time!! So today I get to see my Aunt CC and her two kids W and H. I am so excited were going out to lunch. I am really looking forward to Christmas day!! I am so excited!! It is so great to be back in Arizona and be in the warmth and the sunn!! I know that this sounds crazy but I have missed the heat!!

My Thanksgiving!

So I had to work over Thanksgiving it was that or Christmas. Personally I would work Thanksgiving and go home for Christmas. So I worked it was pretty sucky! I only got 11 dollars in tips and I worked from 10 to 2. After work I went over to my Aunt Chanelle and Uncle David's house for dinner. It was really fun! So my Great grandpa has been really sick lately and the day before Thanksgiving he turned for the worse. After work on Thanksgiving I got the call telling me that he passed early that morning. Lets say if I didn't have family around that day I would have cried all day! So this weekend I have spent it with my Aunt Jessica and my Uncle Brent and her family it has been fun . I mean better then sitting around doing nothing all weekend. So this week I have my grandpa's funeral and my whole family is coming up and their staying with my aunt Jessica and Uncle Brent so I thought it would be nice to suprise them when they walk into their house tomorrow by being there. They think I am going to my grandparents, The only person that knows is my dad! It will be so great to see them even if it is for a funeral.  

The other day we had our first snow fall of the year! It was fun! My roomate Jessica and her bf and me all had a snowball fight! There was not a lot of snow but enough to have one. I love being able to watch the leaves change ( that is my favorite part of fall!) I personally don't think I am ready for the cold winters here! I love the snow just not the cold that comes with it. So I like I have said in my earlier post about that kid that I have reconnected from Washington well I don't know what is going on between us but we haven't talked in weeks! I am starting to think something is going on and he just doesn't want to be friends but I am still trying to be his friend. But I have had a great week so far! I work tonight my first night as a server tonight! I am really excited but tonight is our schools basketball game against BYU lets say that students have been pumped up about it all week because students have camped out all week for it! I think it is crazy! But that is my opinion! So school is going good we are doing registration next week! I am starting to get nervous lol. But I am ready for it!

My Week!

Well this week has had its ups and its downs! So this like I mentioned in my last post I was at my grandparents last week. So I come home and unpack after giving my fabulous talk and realize that I left my razor, body wash, and my sponge thing over there! I have been using my shampoo as a body wash. Well I had an interview at Ihop on Monday and got asked to come back Friday for a second interview! To sum that up I GOT THE JOB!!! I am now a server at Ihop my first day is on Wednesday!! I am so excited!!! So this weekend I got together with my cousins and we had a fun day! We mad little ghost with balloons, cups and gauze! They turned out so cute I should have gotten pictures but I didn't. So it's Sunday at 10:10 at night and I have just finished procrastinating my homework! That is what happens when you have had a week to do homework and you put it off. I also got an email from the BF and he told me he should be home sometime around July 18th of next year!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!! 8 more months!!

Well it was fall break this week it may have really only been one day but when your teachers cancel class you take advantage of it! I spent this last weekend at my grandparents (I wish I could have gone home but maybe next time... SPRING BREAK). This week I was called to give a talk and well I thought it went okay. Not my best talk given but it was good. So this week I have an interview and I am crossing my fingers that I get it! I could really use a job right now!  School is going really well. I really miss home and the heat. I am thinking U of A next year..... So the weather is really nice lately a little chilly but the trees are changing and it is so pretty. I am really excited for winter break! Okay so I have reconnected with this old friend and personally it is weird we haven't seen each other in years I mean years and we really don't talk or hang out. I kinda wish we could hang out more and get to know each other and catch up but who knows. So I have been really busy studying and working on papers for school!

Conference Weekend

Conference was amazing!!!! I loved all the talks that I was able to watch. My favorite talk was Sister Dalton's talk to the men in the church. But my next favorite talk was from Elder Andersen. I loved how he talked about the family and children! Well conference was great besides I was sick! :( I woke up on Saturday with what I thought was pink eye and I went to the doctor and ended up with a sinus infection. The pink eye wasn't pink eye it was my sinus infection coming out my eye!! GROSS!! I am feeling better now!! Thanks to my medication!!

Update :)

I cant believe how fast time flies when your in college.  Week 5 already and midterms are coming up. Which Christmas break is coming sooner :) Its allergy season up here and lets just say I have them REALLY bad that the first allergy medicine that I bought didn't work and and I had to by some new kind that I know works. So this weekend is General Conference! I love conference weekend being able to sit in sweats and listen to our beloved general authorities  speak and take notes. Last week was homecoming it was so fun we had a paint dance and a whole bunch of activities. The homecoming game was so intense it went into double overtime and we lost by one point. I miss home a lot and especially the boy :) I cant wait to hear from him soon. I miss home and everyone there. I miss my friends especially Emily and Anna :) Can't wait for a well deserved break.

College Update

College is crazy. Full of fun and excitement. Even though I really miss home and my family. College is busy. With home work, and school all together. I have been keeping really busy with homework. I love my room mates. There are so many things to do here. I miss my family and my friends so much. Utah is so pretty although it is getting cold and fast. I am starting to miss Arizona and the heat!!!! I think I am going to freeze this winter.

Week One of Collge Life

This week has been filled with stress of looking for a job. Which is so hard to do in a small college town. I have been almost everywhere that is in walking distance of my apartment. Since I don't have a car i will have to learn the bus  routes. 

On Monday I moved into the apartment and just unpacked, I met up with my friend Olivia and we hung out for a while then I went to Salt Lake with an old friend to take his mom the the airport. Came home and relaxed while unpacking. 

Tuesday, I had my aunt pick me up and we went to look for a job. No one is hiring due to there are hundreds of students looking for a job. So that makes in so much harder. Came home filled them out and then that night I Skyped with my family. 

On Wednesday: I went and turned in the applications, and just hung out with my cousins. After that my all of my roommates and me went out for scream and then we went over a guys house and played cards.

Thursday, Really didn't do much just hung out at the apartment. 

Friday, went over the the grandparents for laundry then went to the fair came home and found out what ward were in. We are in the 11th ward and church starts at 1:30. :( did not want that time. me and my roommates went to this taste of Logan, where restaurants give samples of there food. my favorite had to be the Gias Pizza. 

Saturday will consist of relaxing and  possibly going to a skating ring tonight.

Hello Logan!

Well I am finally in Logan. I love it here. It is so pretty and the weather is AMAZING! I love my room mates and having family so near. It was so hard to say good bye to my mom and dad. Me and Calla just laughed the whole time. I broke into tears when my mom started to cry. I am finally moved in and unpacked.  This week is filled with job hunting and getting used to things before school starts next Monday.

Good Bye Queen Creek! Hello Logan

Well today is my last night in Queen Creek. I leave for Logan tomorrow. I have made some great friendships here whether they be from school or work. But I will remember all the memories I have made and hope to make new ones in Logan. And when I come home I will have to get together with old friends to make more memories. My last week in Queen Creek has been filled with stress, packing, work and having fun whenever I can. But tomorrow should be filled with more packing.
